Western series
I was weaned on country music and the 'Wild West' mythology - my dad was obsessed with it! The music, the films, the picture books - my brother and I loved it all. The fascination has remained. Being British, American culture (the packaged version of it!) is everywhere in my life. It's incredible to me that the cultural exports, myths and stories of a country I've never even visited have had such a bearing on my consciousness.
This series is me looking back, playing with the visual language and narratives that are woven into my life and relationships.
